At Gunnery Works, community has always been at the heart of what we do — and this month, we're proud to be part of something truly special.

Our Centre Manager Shaunnie has teamed up with a good friend at the Oasis Community HUB on a wonderful initiative close to all our hearts. The Oasis Community HUB, which works alongside Oasis Academy Enfield and Oasis Academy Hadley, operates in close partnership with the police, social services, and local schools to support young people and families across the area.

With prom season fast approaching, the HUB has identified that some families simply cannot afford the outfits — the dresses, the suits, the confidence boost — that every student deserves for their big night. The goal is simple: no student should miss out on feeling included and proud at their prom.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Gunnery Works community, we've already donated two large boxes and two bags full of clothing. And one of our brilliant clients, Brian from Absolute Power, has gone above and beyond by donating a brand-new 55" LG TV (worth around £500) as a raffle prize.

Shaunnie is running the raffle with all proceeds going directly to the Oasis Community HUB to help purchase prom outfits for students in need. So far, we've raised £112 — and we're hoping to at least match the value of the TV through ticket sales.
